A Bit About Me
Welcome to Elegant Elements by Kelly, where passion meets creativity in the form of unique, handcrafted jewelry. I'm Kelly-Ellen McMahon-Anderson, the creative force behind this endeavor, and I'm thrilled to share a bit of my story with you.
From a young age, creativity has been my constant companion. I embarked on a journey of artistic exploration, starting with private art lessons that fueled my imagination throughout my teenage years. Growing up in the serene embrace of a small suburban town, I was surrounded by the beauty of nature, which inspired a deep love for animals and ignited my passion for jewelry design.
Named after my father's mother Ellen, with a first name Kelly meaning "warrior" of Irish origin, I've always felt a sense of strength and purpose in my pursuits. This strength has guided me through various endeavors, including my involvement with charitable organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals.
Throughout the years, I've been fortunate to play a role in finding loving homes for over 500 horses, including my own beloved companions, “Dee Link Perfectly Golden Gentleman”, better known as Cody and “A Gift From God” better know as Trooper. While the loss of Trooper was a heartbreaking moment, it also became a catalyst for a new chapter in my life.
"I have dedicated over 25 years of my professional life to providing compassionate care in both small animal and large animal veterinary hospitals, while simultaneously cultivating my passion for exquisite craftsmanship through part-time work at a fine jewelry store for another 25 plus years."
Combining my love for animals and jewelry design, I founded Elegant Elements by Kelly. I realized there's no better way to immortalize the bond between horse and rider than through handcrafted keepsake horse hair jewelry. Each piece is a testament to the enduring connection we share with our equine friends, capturing memories that last a lifetime.
